Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove – The Jurassic Coast

Ben and Nigel both love the great outdoors so Durdle Door was a perfect location for their pre-wedding photoshoot. I had arrived a little earlier in the day to make the most of being in one of my favourite parts of the UK, I had even brought my parents along so we could go for a walk beforehand and eat ice-cream!

I love to travel and shoot new locations and Durdle Door has been on my list of places I would love to shoot for a long time. It was a bright early summer day, very windy but with some beautiful soft warm light and I was really excited to meet up with Ben and Nigel and trek along the cliffs to find the best locations for some lovely romantic portraits. I must confess that it didn’t take me very long to realise that I was nowhere near as fit as these two are and I ended up looking like a beetroot after walking back up the hill, thank goodness I was the one behind the camera!

Ben and Nigel are such a fun couple and their shoot was full of laughter, and love of course.
