London Oratory and Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding – Riverside Celebrations

Melissa & Ed’s Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding

I’d been looking forward to heading back into London for Melissa and Ed’s wedding at Trinity Buoy Wharf. I’d first met them several months ago when we had their pre-wedding shoot taking in all the sights of London. They are such a lovely couple, and that session had been a great way to get to know them better and learn all about the plans for their beautiful wedding day.

Bridal Preparations at Capitol Hotel

The bridal preparations took place in the Capitol Hotel where Melissa dressed in a stunning Jesus Piero dress. It was the first of two beautiful dresses that she wore on the day, in the evening she changed into a gorgeous dress by Rime Arodaky.

The Brompton Oratory London

The ceremony took place in The Brompton Oratory. The layout was unique for a church, with rows of pews facing inwards towards a central aisle. Afterwards, everyone took a boat trip along the Thames to Trinity Buoy Wharf. It was perfect weather for a boat ride the views over the Thames were fantastic.

Wedding Portraits

I loved the variety of locations for portraits. We had vibrant urban scenes at Trinity, beautiful backdrops of roses in Chelsea and the unique setting of the lighthouse interior, which felt more like a sauna due to the weather!

I loved so many things about the day…

Their stunning flower backdrop for the speeches (by King-Wey Hii of Alright Petal) The pretty table settings and illustrations. A gorgeous floral ombre wedding cake by Bees Bakery and Melissa & Ed’s departure. They left the party by boat with the O2 Arena the city’s buildings lit up against the night sky, waved off by their guests.

If you are planning a Trinity Bouy Wharf Wedding, or a ceremony at the Brompton Oratory, please do get in touch to find out more.
