Rachel and KY’s beautiful dutch engagement session

Rachel and KY flew over from London for their engagement session and only had one day to spend in the city. They chose Amsterdam as it is one of their favourite cities and I was so pleased they asked me to photograph them both in a place that meant so much to them.

We decided to meet at sunrise to capture the beautiful morning light and sun rising over Amsterdam – possibly the earliest I have ever been up to photograph an engagement shoot but totally worth the early morning just for the golden winter light! We walked for hours through cute canals, warmed up in a cozy cafe and posed amongst Rembrandt’s most iconic image.

These guys are such a pleasure to photograph and really hope to see them again soon for the second part of their shoot in London!
