Chateau La Durantie Wedding Photographer

Destination Wedding Photographer, France

Recently on the blog I shared Rachel and KY’s pre-wedding shoot, now it’s time to share their beautiful Chateau La Durantie wedding.

Rachel and KY were married on a blisteringly hot summer’s day in a magnificent chateau La Durantie in the Dordogne, France. The wedding was small and intimate, with the most important people in their lives staying in the chateau for the celebrations.

Although it was the hottest wedding I’ve ever photographed, with the temperatures soaring to over 40 degrees, it was still an incredibly relaxed and beautiful celebration. Every detail of the wedding was carefully considered, even down to the music choices, each couple had the first dance song from their own wedding played. And just look at that wedding breakfast table, have you ever seen a table so beautiful?

It’s no great surprise that we had gorgeous golden evening light again, so what could be better than a stroll through a cornfield as the sun dropped in the sky.

All of my destination wedding packages are inclusive of European travel and accommodation and also include a complimentary pre-wedding portrait session. Please click here for more details.
