Dorset Marquee Wedding Photographer

Emma and Seaver’s marquee was absolutely beautiful – Papier Mâché elephants had been handmade for each table, delicate teacups had been positioned for every guest, and beautiful flower centerpiece’s with pink and white flowers adorned each table.

The marquee overlooked the classic English rolling countryside, with Emma’s family home standing proudly in the background. When I saw Emma’s dress for the first time, I was amazed at how beautiful it was, especially as I later found out that it originally used to be Emma’s mother and was re-designed especially by the wonderful husband and wife team Valerie & Gerson. The bridesmaids wore long elegant silver dresses from Ghost each with a different neckline, whilst Emma’s beautiful flower girl wore a beaded soft pink dress with ballet shoes.

Stour Provost Church Dorset

The ceremony was held at Stour Provost, a very charming little church with fantastic views of the countryside. I really love small traditional churches; they feel so warm and loving. It was a great privilege to capture such raw emotion and all the beautiful moments between Emma and Seaver during the service.

The weather was a little on-off with rain and sunshine, but when we needed the sun to shine for us, it did! I can’t believe how lucky we were!

The reception was held around the pool along with a very lovely speech from Emma’s father, the rest of the speeches were held in the stunning marquee after dinner had been served.

I was in shock when Emma and Seaver started their first dance, not what I expected at all! They had a perfectly choreographed traditional dance of some kind (I don’t know the technical term for it, maybe a foxtrot? I wouldn’t know, I have two left feet!) There was so much energy and pace around the dance floor, it was super fun! And the dancing did not stop there, moves were thrown all night, I actually ended up staying much later than planned, as I couldn’t tear myself away!

Thank you so, so much for such a wonderful day and welcoming me so warmly. X
