Rebecca and Ben’s Hatch House Wedding
Wiltshire Wedding Photography
Rebecca and Ben’s wedding day started slightly differently than usual for me with an Ushers Lunch at The Beckford Arms, a stylish country pub in the Wiltshire countryside. From there I headed to Rebecca’s grandmother’s home where the preparations were taking place, not only is it a beautiful character home but it also holds a special place in Rebecca’s heart.
The sun was shining and Rebecca looked radiant as she arrived at the country church (St Margaret of Antioch in Chilmark) in a vintage car, her dress is very much the sort I would choose myself if I was getting married with it’s elegant lace detail and loose fit. The flowers were once again by the talented Tattie Rose.
After the church it was on to Hatch House for the rest of the celebrations, Hatch House is a beautiful setting for a country wedding and the weather was a perfect mix of golden sunshine and soft hazy light, a photographers dream! As an added bonus it was also a little windy, I took Rebecca and Ben off into the gardens for their portraits and had no difficulty capturing Rebecca’s dream shot with her veil blowing in the wind!
The speeches were held in the beautiful gardens of Hatch House, with guests listening intently whilst the father of the bride, groom and both best men gave their speeches from an elevated level with the sun setting around us.
For the evening celebrations Rebecca exchanged her veil for a simple flower crown and together with Ben they kicked off an evening of laughter with an energetic and fun first dance.
Thanks again Rebecca and Ben for picking me to be your Hatch House wedding photographer! xx
