London is home to an amazing variety of wedding locations, from world-renowned hotels to eclectic boutique venues. Opportunities for photography during the wedding day are equally wide-ranging, with stunning modern architecture, elegant townhouses, grungy urban backdrops, world-famous landmarks and beautiful green spaces (don’t forget that most of the Royal Parks require an advance permit for photography, currently costing around £120).

Filled with interesting light and shapes and with so many great backdrops, it really is a photographer’s dream, and you will have some stunning and unique images to remember your wedding day. I do recommend having an idea of your routes in advance and trying to avoid the most crowded locations.
