The morning of Danielle and Luke’s wedding brought rain. Lots of rain.

Danielle was getting ready in their beautiful home and resigned herself that the wedding would take place in the barn at Micklefield Hall. The barn is a gorgeous venue but Danielle’s dream had been to get married by the lake. Imagine her delight when she arrived at Micklefield Hall to find that not only had the rain stopped but that Luke and the ushers had taken the decision to go ahead with her dream lakeside wedding.

The rest of the day was dry and surprisingly warm for October, which was perfect for such a unique setting. Danielle are Luke are such a warm and loving couple, the rolling countryside and the gorgeous grounds of the hall made perfect backdrops for some romantic portraits.

And then it was on with the celebrations with lots of fun and laughter, speeches that were planned and some that were unexpected and a wonderfully lively dance floor to end a perfect day.
