I’ve photographed two weddings at the Chateau de Lacoste, and I just want to keep coming back here! The views over the Dordogne from the elevated position of the venue are amazing.
There’s a small stone chapel on the grounds in addition to an outdoor area for ceremonies by a cliff face. You can choose to hold your party on the lawn inside the house. For me the highlight of this location the stunning, warm, light during golden hour, a photographer’s dream!

Emma & Stuart
Emma and Stuart’s Chateau de Lacoste wedding marked a special day for me: it was my first destination wedding and a dream one at that. Arriving two days early, I was invited to their pre-wedding dinner along with all of their family and friends. The next day, I was asked to go canoeing with everyone along the Dordogne River, but instead opted to take their photos as they headed downstream.

Richard and Sarah’s wedding was my second visit to the gorgeous French wedding venue of Chateau de Lacoste. It was also my second wedding in France that week; I’d been at the equally beautiful Chateau la Durantie earlier in the week.
