COWDRAY HOUSE

West Sussex Wedding Venue

Cowdray House Wedding Photography

Situated in West Sussex, Cowdray House is a spectacular country house wedding venue set in beautiful grounds.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing several weddings here in different seasons, and it’s been a joy to see how the gardens change at different times of the year.

Cowdray House as a wedding Venue

Outdoor ceremonies can be held on the lawn, surrounded by 110 acres of prvate gardens.

Indoors, Buck Hall is a stunning space for a wedding ceremony and to have your wedding breakfast. It’s a very grand hall, but also feels warm and welcoming. I love the warm tones of the walls and the fact that the room can be styled in so many different ways.

Cowdray House also has luxury rooms for the wedding guests who wish to stay. The bridal suite is filled with beautiful natural light and has plenty of space for all your bridesmaids or groomsmen to get ready.

With an outdoor ceremony in front of the house’s fountain, a dedicated room for the 33 children in attendance, and a joyful energy that carried through the entire day, it was a celebration to remember.

Suzie & Adriaan

A classic winter wedding filled with timeless elegance. The bride wore a stunning Vera Wang gown paired with the most incredible veil, creating a look that was both graceful and modern. With the ceremony held in the beautiful Buck Hall, the atmosphere was cosy, romantic, and full of warmth — the perfect celebration of love on a crisp winter’s day.

Hannah & James

These two were caught in the wave of COVID postponements and had to scale their guest list down to just 30 — but that didn’t dampen the spirit of the day one bit. Smiles were everywhere, and the celebration felt beautifully intimate and personal.

These two tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at St Mary’s Church before heading back to the house for an evening of celebrations. And when the bride is a professional burlesque dancer, you just know the dance floor was going to be incredible — and it truly was!
