Helen & Doug’s Loseley Park Engagement Photography
Pre-wedding Photography in Surrey
I don’t think that there could be a more romantic setting for a pre-wedding photoshoot than an English walled garden with an abundance of wisteria in full bloom! Loseley Park is a wonderful venue that also happens to be quite close to home, not only do I love to shoot here but I also enjoy regular visits to their tea room (their ice cream is amazing!).
Thanks to Helen’s very careful planning the session was perfectly timed for the wisteria to be in full bloom. Loseley Park kindly allowed us access to the walled garden before it opened to the public. It was great to meet up with Helen and Doug knowing that we would have the gardens to ourselves. Taking a leisurely stroll around, enjoying the beauty and tranquillity of the venue whilst capturing beautiful portraits.
It wasn’t only the wisteria that was looking wonderful. The gardens were a riot of colour and texture making perfect portrait backdrops. There are manicured hedges, beds full of blooms, open fields, textured walls, gravelled walkways and of course the magnificent backdrop of Loseley House. After taking some time for romantic portraits in the gardens and a spot of fun and dancing in the field we couldn’t resist ending our morning with some Loseley Park Ice Cream. Following much deliberation I opted for Honey and Stem Ginger and it was every bit as delicious as it sounds.
