Southbank Couples Shoot with Laura & Gareth

I was really looking forward to Laura and Gareth’s couples shoot on London’s Southbank, we had only had chance to chat over Skype so the session was our first chance to meet and get to know each other a little.

I’d been in London for a photoshoot for one of my commercial clients and met up with Laura and Gareth as they finished work. They confessed to feeling a little nervous but I reassured them that most couples do and they soon relaxed and totally enjoyed their session.

The light was just beautiful, golden and warm with the sun low in the sky. Obviously I can work with whatever light there is but this really is my absolute favourite! We took a leisurely stroll along the South Bank, chatting and getting to know each other and stopping whenever we found quieter spots or interesting backgrounds.

We rounded off our stroll with a riverside cocktail at the BFI, a perfect end to a lovely evening!

I’m very much looking forward to catching up with Laura and Gareth again at their wedding this summer in Leeds.
