Ashleigh and Justin’s winter wedding
Ashleigh was visiting London from Australia when she bumped into Justin. The two were drawn to each other and fell in love! Such a surprise to be on holiday and receive such a wonderful and everlasting gift. Not at all a surprise when Ashleigh made the leap and moved to the United Kingdom to be closer to her beloved Justin.
When Justin presented Ashleigh with the most beautiful and feminine pink stoned engagement ring, Ashleigh, of course, responded yes! The planning began and the couple decided on Avington Park in Hampshire. This venue is an exquisite and lovely estate known for its picturesque backdrops, country mansion and wrought iron bridges. There are even some highland cows which are always good for photos! The gilded rooms, lovely fields and stone work made my job so fun! The textures and winter light were breathtaking!
Family and friends had traveled all over the world to be there for Ashleigh and Justin on their special day. Ashleigh’s parents, brother and her best friend traveled all the way from Australia to be present. Such absolutely lovely and wonderful people, it was a certain joy to meet them all! Ashleigh’s dress was so glamorous, the sheer lace bodice flattered her shape perfectly and she looked absolutely stunning.
Despite being absolutely freezing cold, we roughed the harsh outdoors to capture some romantic shots amidst the crisp glow of a chilling winters day. I worked quickly to capture what they needed and everyone was so jovial and cooperative, regardless of the harsh elements.
After formals, we were greeted by a welcome wave of warmth upon entering the reception. The event was catered by Kalm Kitchen, one of my favourite catering groups to work with. Not only is the food absolutely smashing, but it is always presented beautifully and creatively.
The party was enthusiastic and lovely. Everyone really hit the dance floor with amazing gusto, it was great to see so much joy and dancing! Happy one year anniversary Ashleigh and Justin! I raise a glass to many, many more!
