The celebration after the Covid Year!

An Image from Every wedding photographed in 2021

The year after the world stood still

It felt amazing to get together again. In many cases, it was the first time family and friends had been able to see each other in over a year, hugs were held longer, and everyone partied harder than ever before.

Covid gave me a new appreciation for this beautiful job of capturing beautiful moments and memories that will last a lifetime.

See some of my favourites below.

It was such a relief to get back to photographing weddings again in 2021!

2020 was surreal in so many ways, I was fully booked, and the year started well with some early winter weddings, then one by one, as we all realised Covid wasn't going anywhere in a hurry, everybody started to move, some into 2021 and a few into 2022.

Weddings in 2021 faced last-minute restrictions on numbers, face masks and some very weird rules from the government that made no sense at all! But most of my couples still managed to have the best time despite restrictions.
